Dancing with Color

This Black History Month Collection is entitled "Dancing with Color," a piece originally designed on stretched linen. After the drawing process, melted wax was used to stop the fabric paint from running over into another section of the design. Which left the off white/light blue outline on each character. This abstract piece was inspired by one of the oldest Creole dances in Trinidad and Tobago, The Bélé.
